Media walls that hide the wires and keep the wood

Full wall units, fireplace surrounds and media built-ins designed around your screen size, your equipment and the awkward corner the cable outlet is actually in.

What we build

Pieces in this collection

A television bolted to a bare wall with a cable snaking down it is the most common unfinished detail in an otherwise finished living room. A built-in solves the wires, adds the storage the room was missing, and gives the wall a reason to be looked at.

We plan the unit around your equipment first: screen size, sound bar or receiver, console gaming, ventilation, and where the outlets and data drops actually sit.

  • Full wall units

Floor to ceiling built-ins that frame the screen with shelving and closed storage.

  • Fireplace surrounds

Millwork either side of a fireplace, with a mantel and a screen position that works.

  • Floating media shelves

A lighter option: a solid wood shelf run with concealed cable routing.

  • Equipment cabinets

Ventilated, IR friendly cabinets so receivers and consoles stay hidden and cool.

  • Display lighting

Integrated LED lighting on shelving, dimmable and wired before install.

  • Basement theatre millwork

Bar tops, tiered seating platforms and acoustic panelling for finished basements.

Before you commission

What we work through together

Screen size and height

Centre of the screen should sit near seated eye level. We set the opening from your seating distance, not from the wall.

Ventilation

Enclosed electronics need airflow. We build vented backs and leave service access behind the equipment.

Cable routing

Conduit and grommets go in before the unit is installed, which means no visible wires and easy upgrades later.

Wood versus paint

Stained wood is warmer and hides fingerprints; painted units disappear into the wall and let the wood show elsewhere.

Questions

Answers before you get in touch

If yours is not here, ask us directly. We answer every inquiry personally.

Can you build around an existing fireplace?
Yes, and we do it often. We scribe to the existing masonry or surround rather than asking you to change it.
Will the TV be recessed or mounted on the face?
Either. Recessed looks cleaner but limits future screen sizes, so we usually oversize the opening slightly and discuss the trade-off with you.
Do you coordinate with an audiovisual installer?
Yes. Bring them into the design conversation early and we will build the pathways they need.
How long does a media wall take?
Typically six to twelve weeks from approved drawings, with one to two days on site for installation.

Our process

From first message to installed piece

Seven clear stages, so you always know what happens next.

  1. 01

    Initial inquiry

Tell us what you have in mind. A rough idea, a room measurement, or a photo you saved is plenty to start with.

  2. 02

    Consultation

We talk through how the piece will be used, who sits where, what has to fit, and which woods and finishes suit the room.

  3. 03

    Design and quote

You receive drawings, dimensions, wood and finish options, and a firm price. We adjust until it is right on paper.

  4. 04

    Deposit and scheduling

A deposit reserves your spot in the shop calendar. You get a realistic build window, not a guess.

What Saskatchewan homeowners say

5.0 from 27+ Google reviews
Our bunk room sleeps six now and the kids love it. They worked around an awkward ceiling and made it look intentional.
Jeff and Lisa T. · Emma Lake, SK
The mudroom is the hardest working part of our house. Boots, backpacks, hockey gear, all of it finally has a home.
Nicole B. · Saskatoon, SK
They measured, drew it up, and built exactly what we talked about. No surprises, no chasing anyone for updates.
