Furniture / Home Office
Desks and office built-ins that suit how you work
Solid wood desks, credenzas, shelving and full office built-ins with the cable management, monitor clearance and storage that retail furniture never gets right.

What we build
Pieces in this collection
Working from home turned spare rooms into offices, usually with a folding table and a stack of bins. A desk built to your room can hold two monitors, hide the cables, and still look like furniture when the laptop closes.
Where the room allows, a built-in office is the better answer: a wall of shelving with a desk run underneath uses space a freestanding desk cannot touch.
Writing desks
Clean solid wood desks with a drawer or two, sized to the wall or window you want to sit at.
Executive desks
Larger pedestal desks with file drawers, wire management and a durable work surface.
Built-in desk runs
Wall to wall work surfaces with shelving above and storage below, scribed to the room.
Credenzas and files
Low storage for printers, files and supplies, matched to the desk.
Office shelving
Adjustable or fixed shelving in solid wood, built floor to ceiling where the space allows.
Two person offices
Shared layouts with separate work zones, which is much harder to buy than to build.

Before you commission
What we work through together
Ergonomics
Desk height, keyboard clearance and monitor distance are set to you, especially if you are taller or shorter than average.
Cables and power
Grommets, a cable tray and an outlet location planned before build, so nothing is taped underneath later.
Video call background
Where the camera points matters. We often adjust shelving so the wall behind you reads well on calls.
Sound and doors
Sliding doors or a shelving wall can close an office off from an open plan without a renovation.
Questions
Answers before you get in touch
If yours is not here, ask us directly. We answer every inquiry personally.
- Can you build around a standing desk mechanism?
- Yes. We build solid wood tops for sit-stand bases and can integrate the base into a built-in run.
- How much does a custom desk cost?
- A simple solid wood writing desk starts well below a full built-in run. Tell us the room and the storage you need and we will quote both options.
- Can office built-ins be removed if we sell?
- They are installed as permanent millwork and generally add value. If you want a freestanding version, we will design it that way from the start.
- Do you handle electrical?
- We coordinate with your electrician and plan the woodwork around their locations. We do not do the electrical work ourselves.
Our process
From first message to installed piece
Seven clear stages, so you always know what happens next.
- 01
Initial inquiry
Tell us what you have in mind. A rough idea, a room measurement, or a photo you saved is plenty to start with.
- 02
Consultation
We talk through how the piece will be used, who sits where, what has to fit, and which woods and finishes suit the room.
- 03
Design and quote
You receive drawings, dimensions, wood and finish options, and a firm price. We adjust until it is right on paper.
- 04
Deposit and scheduling
A deposit reserves your spot in the shop calendar. You get a realistic build window, not a guess.
